The refurbishment of Riddlesworth Hall, a former independent day and boarding school. The building was Grade II listed, and the works involved a change of use to provide residential accommodation in the form of ‘Later Living’ apartments.

Innovation Fire Engineering provided our client with solutions to a range of fire safety issues, including the challenges of means of escape and facilities for the fire service. This included balancing the retention of existing building features against alterations to enhance fire safety, improving the means of escape and fire-fighting facilities within the existing building.
